Joyce Nishimwe ’27

Joyce Nishimwe
Health Professions Peer Career Mentor

Joyce Nishimwe (she/her), from the class of 2027, is involved in the Wellesley African Students' Association and the Saxe lab at MIT. One piece of advice she’s learned at Wellesley is to take the time to explore and apply for internships and fellowships, and don’t hesitate to put yourself out there! There may be more rejections than acceptances, but applying ensures you won’t look back with regret. She also encourages attending any conferences you can; it’s a great way to connect with people in your field and engage with others who share your interests.

You can make an appointment with Joyce on her google calendar.
