Civic Engagement
Civic Engagement
Built upon the foundations of Wellesley’s motto, Non Ministrari Sed Ministrare (“Not to be ministered unto, but to minister”), the Civic Engagement program explores the role of social justice, community engagement, and leadership across all majors and career fields. During the fall and spring semesters, we offer a wide range of opportunities for sustained, collaborative, reflective, and meaningful ways to engage that enrich and support a liberal arts education while partnering with fellow students, communities, and organizations.

Ministrare Peer Leaders
Ministrare Peer Leaders are Juniors and/or Seniors curious about the social impact ecosystem and dedicated to building accessible avenues for Wellesley students to engage in community action. Throughout the year, Peer Leaders support Civic Engagement programming, maintain relationships with community partners (on and off campus), and act as a resource for students on campus. Come talk to us in the Mods (Room 402) about how to get involved with Civic Engagement — book a meeting time here!
