Drop-In Advising & Peer Career Mentor Appointments
In addition to booking 1:1 appointments with Career Education in Handshake, students are warmly encouraged to connect with us via drop-ins and Peer Career Mentor Advising. These are wonderful opportunities to ask time-sensitive/quick questions, or connect with our office during high volume times when appointment blocks are booked.

Fellowships Pop-Up Advising

Fellowships Pop-Up Advising
Hours are posted in Handshake on a regular basis, with both virtual and in-person options. Students and alums welcome! From the most general question (what exactly is a fellowship, anyway?) to the most specific (could I use this fellowship to study bees in Eastern Europe?)—the Fellowships team is here to help.
Senior Support Group

What are your plans for after graduation? The first question that most people tend to ask someone they know or learn is a graduating senior. Maybe you feel so overwhelmed that you’re having trouble getting started. Maybe you have a rough plan in mind, but you’re unsure when or how to get started. Maybe you have a plan, but you could use encouragement and accountability. Regardless of where you are, this is a space designed for graduating seniors to connect with advisors from Career Education and peers who are also navigating a complicated mix of feelings– anxiety, excitement, fear, pride, and more.
The resilience, skills, and growth you’ve built during your college years are strong foundations to carry you forward, and it’s valid to honor both the excitement and the anxieties of this moment. Whether you are looking for tangible support with your job search or graduate school applications, accountability to make progress, and/or a physical reminder that you aren’t navigating this upcoming transition alone, come join advisors from Career Education for a come and go, drop-in style support session. Our hope is that you leave with greater clarity, actionable strategies, and encouragement to take your next steps.
