Fellowships, broadly defined, fund purposeful activity.
To be more specific, fellowships can fund (among other things) language study abroad, undergraduate and postgraduate research, service opportunities, graduate and professional study, independent projects, teaching (both in the U.S. and abroad)... the possibilities are endless, which can be both inspiring and intimidating! Career Education and the Fellowships team are here to help you navigate, no matter where you’re starting or where you hope to go.

There’s no wrong place to start a fellowships search. You may have an idea of what you might like to do; you may wonder what fellowships are available to you; or you might have no idea even what questions to ask! We have resources for no matter where you are in the fellowships process.

Jamaica Rhodes Scholarship - direct application deadline
Eligible: graduating seniors and recent graduates from Jamaica, in any field.
The Rhodes Trust, based at the University of Oxford, brings together and develops exceptional people from all over the world, and in all fields of study, who are impatient with the way things are and have the courage to act. Each year, there is one Scholarship available for Jamaica, to support postgraduate study at Oxford.

Hong Kong SAR Rhodes Scholarship - direct application deadline
Eligible: graduating seniors and recent graduates from Hong Kong, in any field.
The Rhodes Trust, based at the University of Oxford, brings together and develops exceptional people from all over the world, and in all fields of study, who are impatient with the way things are and have the courage to act. Each year, there are two Scholarships available for Hong Kong SAR, to support postgraduate study at Oxford.

Israel Rhodes Scholarship - direct application deadline
Eligible: graduating seniors and recent graduates who are citizens of Israel.

Jerome A. Schiff Fellowship - expected direct application deadline
Eligible: Wellesley students enrolled in a 360 in the fall or intending to enroll in a 360 in spring.
A generous gift from the Jerome A. Schiff Charitable Trust allows Wellesley to support students pursuing independent research projects through the senior Honors thesis program. The fellowships are awarded on the basis of merit, and the number of fellows each year is determined by available funding and the number of qualified applicants. **For details please see the Schiff website.
