East Africa Rhodes Scholarship - direct application deadline
Eligible: graduating seniors and recent graduates from Uganda, Tanzania, Rawanda, South Sudan, and Burundi in any field.
The Rhodes Trust, based at the University of Oxford, brings together and develops exceptional people from all over the world, and in all fields of study, who are impatient with the way things are and have the courage to act. Each year, there are two Scholarships available for East Africa, to support postgraduate study at Oxford. East Africa includes Uganda, Tanzania, Rawanda, South Sudan, and Burundi.

Syria, Jordan, Lebanon and Palestine Rhodes Scholarship - direct application deadline
Eligible: graduating seniors and recent graduates from Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, or Palestine, in any field.

Kenya Rhodes Scholarship - direct application deadline
Eligible: graduating seniors and recent graduates from Kenya.

Speech-Language Pathology
Speech-language pathologists (SLPs) are healthcare professionals who diagnose and treat people with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. They work with patients from all stages of life, including newborn babies with nursing difficulties, elementary school children with disabilities, adults with brain damage, and elderly people with dementia.
Physician Assistant
Physician assistants (PA) are medical professionals who diagnose illness, develop and manage treatment plans, prescribe medications, and often serve as a patient’s principal healthcare provider. Having thousands of hours of medical training, physician assistants are both versatile and collaborative and they can practice in every state and in every medical setting and specialty, improving healthcare access and quality.
