Fellowships for the Social Sciences

Crafting a proposal is a very introspective process. I was challenged to understand my motivations and interest in death and dying, then explain how those have informed my life’s course. From this, I gained a deeper sense of myself, academically and personally, which was rewarding in and of itself.

How to Manage a Student Working on a Virtual Project

We are glad you can offer a Wellesley student a virtual project. Short Internship Projects (SHIPs) are short-term, virtual experiences designed by unbundling long-term internships and separating individual projects that can be completed remotely. Students benefit from working on a real-world project for an alum or employer, while your company or organization gains timely support from students. This resource offers tips and guidance to help you supervise and mentor your student throughout the project.

“I want to make ethics accessible to people. Whatever form it takes, I want to bring ethical inquiry into the everyday, and the Watson will ground me in that work.”
