The second annual Wellesley in Business Symposium is being hosted by the Wellesley College Business, Entrepreneurship, and Money Management (BEAM) Initiative, in partnership with the Wellesley Business Leadership Council (BLC). This signature College event will conclude the BLC plenary to celebrate the rich presence of Wellesley alumnae in business. The Symposium will provide preparation pathways and exposure for current students, and create a space where the Wellesley community can come together to learn, grow, and continue to advance women in business.

About the Student Case Competition

Leading up to the plenary and Wellesley in Business Symposium, students will be able to sign up for the Wellesley Business Case Competition. The BEAM Initiative will partner with an organization each year to adapt or construct a unique case for Wellesley students. This year, we are pleased to partner with Sylvana Sinha ’99, Founder and Chairperson of Praava Health. She and her team have been collaborating with Career Education to provide an update on the 2021 Harvard Business School case, Praava Health: A New Model for Bangladesh.

Students will present in the first round on Friday, November 13. The three top teams will be announced LIVE at the Wellesley in Business Symposium on Saturday! The finalists will present once again to the full audience, who will then cast their vote for the top team. First, second, and third place winners will take home a monetary prize thanks to the generosity of the BLC.
