Michelle Ferreirae ’13, Software Engineer in Residence

Michelle Ferreirae ‘13 majored in Computer Science at Wellesley, where she did research in the HCI lab and TA’d CS111 for seven semesters. Since then, she’s worked as a software engineer and instructor at companies like Google, PayPal, and Code Fellows. She lives in Seattle with her wife Erin ‘14, where she enjoys hiking, board games, baking cookies, and playing with her dog, Bean. Michelle developed the curriculum for the initial Upskill Software Development Lifecycle track in January 2024 and has returned to campus in 2025 and 2026 to lead the track. Students learn how to leverage Github in the development of their projects during the program.

Michelle Carusso Cabrera ’91, Journalist in Residence

• Michelle Caruso-Cabrera was the first Latina anchor at CNBC and first Chief International Correspondent. She spent 20+ years covering economic crises and international markets and interviewing presidents, prime ministers, and CEOs. She began her career at Univisión Spanish-language news in 1991. In 1993, she received an Emmy for a series she co-produced on the AIDS Crisis. She sits on the International Advisory Board of the Instituto Empressa in Madrid and is a member of the Council of Foreign Relations, the Economic Club of NY, and the Latino Corporate Directors Association. Previously, she served on the board of directors of Del Real Foods, a portfolio company of Palladium Equity, and as board president of Ballet Hispánico in NYC. In 2023, she joined the board of Wendy’s. Michelle developed and led the initial Upskill journalism track to take place on campus. She connected students with journalists and researchers while teaching the process for conducting interviews and producing their own video interviews.

Beth Santos ’08, Entrepreneur Educator in Residence

Beth Santos s an entrepreneur, author, and community builder working to reshape travel for women worldwide. She is founder and CEO of leading women's travel community Wanderful, and creator of major travel industry events like the WITS Travel Creator Summit, the Bessie Awards, and the first major outdoor travel festival by and for women, Wanderfest. In January 2026, she launched the first U.S. arm of She Shapes History, a walking tour company sharing the overlooked stories of women who shaped the places we know today, beginning with tours in Manhattan. Beth has been named one of 17 changemakers shaping the future of the travel industry by Business Insider, one of 12 women to follow by Conde Nast Traveller, and one of 20 influential women in the travel industry by Travel Pulse. In 2022, she was named Godmother of the Azamara Onward cruise ship. She is the author of solo travel guide and manifesto Wander Woman, and works to amplify underrepresented voices in travel while challenging each of us to do better in her work as a keynote speaker, an industry consultant, and a startup and small business coach. At home she owns Ula Cafe, an inspired cafe and community hub in the Boston neighborhood of Jamaica Plain, where she lives with her husband and children.
For the past two years, Beth has facilitated the one-week Upskill: Entrepreneurship track, introducing students to the startup ecosystem and establishing the foundation for the entrepreneurial mindset.  We're very thankful for her contributions and partnership!

2025-2026 BEAM Alumnae-In-Residence Program

The BEAM Alumnae-In-Residence Program is designed to connect current students with distinguished alumnae who can provide meaningful career guidance, industry insight, and mentorship. The inaugural Alumnae-in-Residence will engage with current students throughout the Spring 2026 semester through small group sessions, career panels, class visits, open office hours, and “Ask Me Anything” offerings related to their expertise.
 

Suzanne Frey ’93, BEAM 2025 Executive-in-Residence 

Frey is a Vice President of Engineering and the steward of information entrusted to Google Cloud. Frey and her team ensure the overall compliance, security, privacy and integrity of data stored in Google Cloud. With over 20 years of industry experience leading advanced technology operations, engineering, systems design, policy and compliance, Frey has worked to “engineer trust” throughout Google’s infrastructure, products, processes and policies. She received her BA from Wellesley College and her MBA from MIT, where she was a Sloan Fellow and Research Assistant for the Center for Information Systems Research (CISR). Frey is an active advocate for STEM education, innovation and the power of diversity. She is a Founding Member of Google’s global Women@ Leadership organization.
 

Vicky Tsai ’00, BEAM 2025 Entrepreneur-In-Residence

Tsai is the founder of Tatcha, a globally recognized luxury skincare brand inspired by timeless Japanese beauty rituals. After earning her degree in economics from Wellesley College and an MBA from Harvard Business School, Tsai explored a variety of paths in business—from trading on Wall Street, to brand management at Starbucks, to marketing in Silicon Valley.

Despite these achievements, she found herself searching for deeper fulfillment and a career that aligned with the version of the American Dream her parents had always described: the pursuit of happiness. At age 31, while expecting her first child, Tsai left corporate America to create Tatcha, a skincare company rooted in mindfulness, craftsmanship, and purpose.

In 2019, Tatcha was acquired by Unilever for a reported $500 million. Today, it remains a leading global brand and social enterprise that has funded more than 15 million days of school for girls around the world through its partnership with Room to Read.
 

Christine Keung ’14, BEAM 2025 Rising-Star-In-Residence

Keung is a General Partner at J2 Ventures. Keung’s diverse career spans the public and private sectors, including leadership roles at high-growth technology companies like Dropbox and Figma, and investment roles at Bridgewater Associates and Atomic VC.

Keung is an experienced operator who served as turnaround CEO of a dual-use technology company and helped build and scale Found Health through 10x growth. Earlier in her career, she was an early member of the security team at Dropbox, working on data regulation and privacy, and later served as Chief of Staff for the company’s legal, policy, and security organization.

In the public sector, Keung joined a COVID-19 taskforce at the U.S. Small Business Administration at the start of the pandemic to launch the Paycheck Protection Program, which deployed $800 billion in loans. She then served the City of San Jose as Chief Data Officer, raising over $1 million to improve City services through data analytics. Keung also advises senior leaders in West Virginia on policy recommendations after co-authoring the Harvard Business School case study on the opioid epidemic.

Keung is a U.S. Department of State Fulbright Scholar, a Tech Policy fellow at the Aspen Institute, and a member of Schmidt Futures’ International Strategy Forum. She is the youngest person to win the Rolex Awards for Enterprise and was recognized as a Next Generation Leader by TIME Magazine in 2017 for her work on public health challenges in rural Western China. Keung holds a B.A. from Wellesley College and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

Technology Career Advising

Catherine Dodge ’04, Product Manager in Residence
Catherine Dodge is a Principal Product Manager at Adobe and Adjunct Faculty at NYU Tandon School of Engineering. Dodge currently works at Adobe, ensuring products are built with security at the forefront. She also serves as adjunct faculty at NYU's Tandon School of Engineering teaching Cloud Security. Prior to Adobe, she spent 7 years at Amazon Web Services (AWS). Prior to AWS, Dodge served in the government sector. She holds a BA in Mathematics from Wellesley College and a Masters in Computer Science from the Naval Postgraduate School.

Dodge supported Wellesley students throughout the Fall 2025 semester by hosting multiple virtual tech advising sessions where she gave advice to students, shared resources, and her expertise.

Diana Eastman ’08, Software Engineer in Residence
Diana Eastman is a Senior Software Engineer at Grow Therapy. Eastman has domain expertise in health care, specifically, provider payment reform, from a long stint in health policy research. She is passionate about using technology to improve patient experience of care and health outcomes. She earned her master’s degree from Tufts University in Computer Science and studied Economics and Political Science at Wellesley College.

Eastman supported Wellesley students throughout the Fall 2025 semester by hosting multiple virtual tech advising sessions where she gave advice to students, shared resources, and her expertise.

Health Professions Career Advising

Alexis Griffin Bonhomme '15, Physician in Residence
Alexis Griffin is a Clinical Research Fellow in Urogynecology & Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital, Gynecologist at Faulkner Hospital, and Clinical Instructor of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Biology at Harvard Medical School. Originally from Montgomery, Alabama, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Wellesley College in 2015. She received her medical degree from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine in 2019 and subsequently completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Tufts Medicine in 2023. Dr. Griffin Bonhomme is the founder of The Switchboard, a mentorship and shadowing program for PreMed Scholars and MAPS club members at Wellesley College, and she serves as an advisor to the Student National Medical Association at Tufts University School of Medicine. In 2025, she was named Physician in Residence at Wellesley College, where she provides mentorship and guidance to premedical students both on and off campus.

Her research interests span a range of clinical and community-based initiatives, with a particular focus on disparities in urogynecologic care affecting communities of color. In support of this work, she secured grant funding to host 25 community workshops across the Boston area, with a focus on Roxbury, Dorchester, and Hyde Park. Dr. Griffin Bonhomme is the author of several peer-reviewed articles on racism in medicine, and the co-author of a children’s book series titled The She Series. She is deeply committed to medical education, the recruitment and retention of individuals underrepresented in medicine, and the elimination of healthcare disparities. As the first Physician in Residence at Wellesley College, Dr. Griffin Bonhomme provides mentorship and support to pre-medical students. She conducts mock interviews, offers shadowing opportunities, and reviews medical school applications. In addition, she has served as a guest speaker at several on-campus events and actively shares her medical network with Wellesley students.
